Hi,

I have just made a couple of changes to the site, the biggest of which being merging the Blog and Site News. Now both will appear on the Home page, which I think makes a bit more sense. I have also rearranged a couple of the items in the sidebars.

I've still got a couple of changes in mind and I've been thinking about adding a couple of things to the site, but for now these plans are top secret!

I have just change the site's theme, something that I've been meaning to do for a while. I quite like the new theme and it has plenty of options to customise it. I will be making a couple of changes over the new few days and weeks, most importantly getting a new logo/favicon. I've also been thinking about integrating my blog and news posts (Having both on the homepage) as I think it's a bit confusing to have news posts on the homepage and blog posts separately; it means visitors don't always find my blog posts.

So look out for further changes.

I'm sorry for the recent unexpected downtime. This was caused by problems that my hosting provider has been having, and required my server to be moved to a new datacentre, and this in turn led to problems with changing the IP address. Needless to say it has been causing me a lot of problems over the last couple of day, but now everything is back online and hopefully running smoothly.

I have decided to try the dot.tk domains names out to see if they suit my site better. So, for now at least, the URL for this blog is http://techash.tk, although the old co.cc URL will still work.

The main reason for me trying the .tk address is that I want to see if it is more reliable than co.cc, as I have had some problems with co.cc in the past. Also co.cc addresses are blocked at my school. If all goes to plan I may move all my sites over to .tk addresses.

Even though this website isn't finished yet I've decided to start writing content. So you will find my first Blog post is already up, and more will follow. Also I will continue writing the tutorials. The reason I've made this decision is that I want to try and keep my interest up so that I don't let this blog die like I did with my last one.
I will be updating the site with a new theme and designing a logo in the coming weeks and months, until then please try to ignore the appearance I know it's not exactly pretty.

I've made a number of attempts to start a blog, but I've never managed to keep it going, this time I plan to succeed...
