Hello, I know I've not written a blog post for a while. I have been struggling to find the time and content material. However I have now found something to write about.
GiffGaff. No, I'm not talking gibberish. It's the name of a new (ish) mobile network here in the UK. I've been using GiffGaff for a few months now, and thought it was time I wrote about it. One of the great things about GiffGaff, for me, is their prices, they are really cheap! Another great thing is that GiffGaff is run by its members, and rewards its members for doing things like helping other users and advertising the company. Read on to find out more!

I have recently stumbled upon an interesting piece of software called Connectify. This free software can turn a Windows 7 computer into a wifi hotspot, to allow nearby devices to share its Internet connection. It's a very small and simple to use piece of Software, and the latest beta version even has a quick start wizard to guide you through all the setup procedures.

Hi,
I have just made a couple of changes to the site, the biggest of which being merging the Blog and Site News. Now both will appear on the Home page, which I think makes a bit more sense. I have also rearranged a couple of the items in the sidebars.
I've still got a couple of changes in mind and I've been thinking about adding a couple of things to the site, but for now these plans are top secret! |

Hi,
About a month ago I wrote about www.co.cc a websites that provided free domain names. Today I'm going to follow up by writing about another service called Dot.tk. Dot.tk is very similar to co.cc except that the domains it gives away are proper domains whereas co.cc gives away sub-domains. Dot.tk have all the normal methods for setting up your domain and a number of nice features including a mail service, a URL shorterner and a free advertising network.

Hi,
I have just change the site's theme, something that I've been meaning to do for a while. I quite like the new theme and it has plenty of options to customise it. I will be making a couple of changes over the new few days and weeks, most importantly getting a new logo/favicon. I've also been thinking about integrating my blog and news posts (Having both on the homepage) as I think it's a bit confusing to have news posts on the homepage and blog posts separately; it means visitors don't always find my blog posts.
So look out for further changes. |
